Stupid polar bears. They couldve been using the bridge this whole time.

Or...they could just swim across and avoid the tolls.

Who's going to make a polar bear pay the toll?

Weather not climate. Science is your friend.
True. They haven't used global warming since it stopped making sense. Climate is much more comprehensive and fluid.

However this is just basic chemistry..........

CO2 (aq) + H2O

Climate.gov: "Why did Earth's surface temperature stop rising in the past decade?" Right an article because the data doesn't support the narrative.

My post wasn't talking about climate, because that's not really the elephant in the room.............ocean acidification is and that is directly related to atmospheric CO2 concentrations (through that chemical formula), and it WILL have a negative affect on ocean biota. And I know most humans don't care about pushing species to extinction, but last I looked, humans get a large amount of food from the oceans so hopefully that MIGHT give us some pause to finally do something about our CO2 emmisions.....but I highly doubt it.

I have no problem with that............but that doesn't give us the excuse to take other species with us.

Thread about furry white critters who have people on their food list has become political.

Such a shame. Thread must be locked?

??????

In short, humans are the cause for many species' demise. It's really a shame. We learn more about the magnificence of many of these animals - their emotions, intelligence, abilities - and we're killing them. Some on purpose for jewelry or hides, some accidentally based on our selfishness.

I contribute to it all so I'm not here to judge. But a little difference from myself and from others could make a huge difference.

there has been a constant drum beat of details of falsified data. the link above has the latest. fwis, the Telegraph is like a cross between the WSJ and NYTimes - very respected, establishment newspapers.

two decades ago you had the fake hockey stick-we're all going to drown - extrapolation graphs.

i think climate change is the only science that relied on full page ads in the usatoday and "consensus-building." i don't remember when they added those to the scientific method.

More fake data

NYT respected? That seems counter to the general consensus in the LR. :)

Maybe you should pay attention when reading........I've been talking about ocean acidification and that's high school chemistry that you can't argue

I almost said that..........but if he thinks any of the modern media outlets are "respectable" then there's nothing I can really say

If you can overcome your cognitive dissonance to read what i said, we'd be fine.

Pay Attention

I know what cognitive dissonance is.............and you are being a perfect example of it in this thread, because I gave you new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas, or values (ie that humans can't possibly impact the Earth).

no, you changed the subject from "scientists" faking data regarding global warming to the acidity of the oceans. I never commented about the acidity of the oceans.

Sorry, I never commented on any faking of any data...........I just said that climate change wasn't the real elephant in the room.
