So I'm famliar with the use of functional D-line depth. We rotate guys in to keep them fresh and limit snap counts. Would think this also helps prevent injuries.
I'm less familiar with the use of functional OFFENSIVE line depth.
Unlike the D-line, having an O-line working together as a unit seems like an important thing.
But having fresh linemen also seems like a good thing.
I remember the old Kentucky Derby offense in 1993 when the entire second team offense came in.
Anyway, my question is: What's better, one starting unit of O-linemen for continuity, or rotating fresh bodies in for keeping guys fresh?
