Seriously, why are pre-season polls still a thing? All they do is set up bias, and basic psychology principles (like the one about holding steady to any stance you take in a public forum, even when you are proven wrong later) explains why they ruin every poll afterwards... Such a joke. If pre-season polls have to exist, there should be major movers and shakers after week 1 among the teams, even if they all won. For example, the only reason Oregon is still ranked #5/7 is because... you guessed it... their pre-season ranking... Oh well. Rant over.
