Now hear me out. I'm going to compare Jameis with RGIII and SMAG with Petty, but only for sake of timing and relative success. NOT their playing style or perception or future projections.
Baylor had RGIII win the heisman and go on to the NFL, the next couple years a guy named Bryce Petty took the reigns and Baylor had some good seasons. They didn't win titles and couldn't be the one true champions, but were right on the edge of greatness. Could this be the same thing that happens with FSU? Jameis won the heisman, was fantastic, took the program to great heights. Can SMAG come in and keep the programming humming, maybe not win a title but get us close and have some good seasons. I think he can.
What do you all think?
