need one for our "new" used car. Zubie says the battery needs attention. It's going to be driven by my 16yo daughter and I'm going to replace it asap.

TIA.

Auto zone is not bad. They will even drive out and replace it if it goes bad and unable to drive and prorate the new one if under warranty.

 congrats, you're both pedophiles. She's not even 17, was probably closer to 14-15 in that picture.

thanks for the suggestions.

Walmart, by far. Prices are as good as any, and they will replace any Walmart battery still
under warranty, even without the receipt. I know of no other place that will do this.

Where ever you get one, don't buy cheap. If available get at least a 3 year warranty battery and make sure the CCA (cold cranking amps) exceed the minimum required for the car.

Advance Auto Parts. If listed get the Gold series as it's the best, silver next. You can probably find a $40 or $50 off coupon at fatwallet.com. Sign up for FW cashback and get another 5.5% back.

did what you said, except for the coupon. oh well...

Batteries are one of those things, like tires and brakes you just don't go with the cheapest option, specially when it's your daughter driving by herself for the first time.

Bartdog, sorry I had not posted this sooner. I've saved a bunch of money buying online at Advance and using coupons. Worth remembering for any future purchases.
