Apparently, a photograph of Billy the Kid is the Holy Grail of western collectibles.

And, to answer the other post, I presume the buyer is one that has an affinity for western collectibles and believes that the price of the photograph will be greater than $5 million when he/she goes to sell it.

Why do most Billy the Kid photos make him look like he was not mentally "all there"? Like he was playing with about 2/3 of the expected IQ points? Head cocked to the side, vacant look on his face, only some of the teeth he was supposed to have: Emilio Estevez didn't look like that at all!
