Wondering if anyone has experience staying at Wind creek Atmore? We won't be gambling, just looking for a weekend getaway. Our son has a football game nearby at Northview high school in Century so I'm trying to find something close.

I stayed there about 2 years ago and it was nice. A few different selections for dinner and a nice steak restaurant.

Don't know about Atmore but played several FB games @ Northview. Nice field but in the middle of BFE. They were terrible last year. Scored 51 on them in the first half.

Who does your son play for?

Yes they are in the "you can't get there from here" category. My son plays for Holmes county High School (Bonifay)

Actually, Northview High is in Bratt FL, and you read that right! :)
Wind Creek is about 15-20 miles from the school. If you sign up for a player's
card, you should get some food credits. Atmore has the basic chain restaurants and a few good local places to eat.David's Catfish House is pretty good.
Also a drag strip is very close to the casino, if you're interested.

They're not too many years from a state title, but those players are all gone. They lose
some of their players to a private school in Atmore.

Yes...I remember they won the Class A title in 2012 but that was before Madison and Pahokee moved to Class A. Last year they had a first year coach and were BAD.

Bonifay quite the football field to referee on following the rodeo
