Remember Lawrence Phillips

I think it was SI that had the huge write up on the culture surrounding the FB at Neb. with a lot of it directed at LP and all the things he got away with. It made me look at Tom Osborne in a total different light. Of course after the year FSU has endured with many slanted hit pieces it makes it hard to believe any journalistic editorial piece. However unlike with JW there was no doubt of his guilt in many instances around campus.

Benn in prison since 2008 from assaulting his ex. He must have REALLY did a number on her to have already served 7 freaking years, many child molesters and rapists don't serve that..

I'm sure his dozen or so priors for pretty much the same thing didn't help.

He was sentenced to over 30 years. Pretty sure at this point, he will never get out.

He's not just serving for the assault, he's serving for an incident with some teens as well. He tried to hit them with his car. I think his sentences run consecutive and California makes you serve a high percentage of time before parole when harm to another is involved.

3 strikes in Cali = lifetime sentence.

2 assaults on women (woman?) and then the assault with a deadly weapon (car) driving into teens at a pickup football game.

That's not even considering the many other things not in California.

By the way, when he got in trouble at NU, it was because he dragged his girl down like 3 flights of stairs because she was cheating on him with SCOTT FROST. Scott's actual probably lucky to be alive, as I heard LP got at him too. Media didn't dig or report that.
