Running back Ryan Green moving to corner

Talked with Ryan Green's father earlier today, who confirmed that his son is moving from running back to cornerback this spring. Charles Kelly first mentioned it as a possibility last fall and after thinking it over, he decided it was the best decision for him.

Here's the story.

His dad expects him to have a chance to compete for playing time right away and with two open starting jobs, there's plenty of playing time up for grabs. "Florida State has a great set of running backs and he saw an opportunity that he could go somewhere else and contribute to the team," Vader Green said. "Dalvin Cook is a great running back, did a great job for them this year. So [Ryan] wants to contribute to the team. That was his thought, 'Maybe I could help somewhere else to help the team.' That's what he decided to do."
