My wife and I took the kids to see Wonder today. Anyone else see it? From what I understand the movie is based on a book of the same name that has gripped the nation. The message of it is a kid who was born with a deformity and goes to school for the first time, dealing with bullies, being made fun of, etc. It actually was pretty heartbreaking and heartwarming.
I found out this week that the movie stars big names like Owen Wilson and Julia Roberts. I’ll say I enjoyed it especially the ending.
If it’s true that a lot of today’s kids are reading this book I think it is a really good thing.
** Note** saw last night on 20/20 that although the book and movie is fiction it loosely aligns with a real kid and family in the Southwest.
