I missing it for some reason. What is the connection of Smackum to um. I always read it as Smack.....um? I read smackum as being a fan of the cereal from the 80s

You should have polled the TC before doing this. Even if someone perceived a connection to um, at least it was a negative connotation. Now they will think you're some punk kid from Peru.

Nothing in particular. The Paroo is a river in SW Queensland, Australia. I'm very familiar with it. When I was young, they called me the kid. I had my previous screen name for 20 years and just wanted a change. Voila, The Paroo Kid.
