SEC dominance over ACC? Try googling "poorest states in US" instead

Pretty much every list you will find, using many different types of metrics , has the following 8 states at or near the bottom of the list:

  • Mississippi
  • West Virginia
  • Louisiana
  • Alabama
  • South Carolina
  • New Mexico
  • Arkansas
  • Kentucky

By my count, 6 of those 8 states account for 8 of 14 SEC teams - more than half the conference!

Instead of investing all this extra "hard earned" SEC cash in waterfalls in lockerrooms and other football facilities, they should try re-investing in the own poor state's infrastructure instead.

Just saying.
