Many of Florida State's players have been in important games at iconic venues. That said, what the Seminoles experienced at the Amway Center was different.
Thursday was the first NCAA Tournament game for the Seminoles since the 2011-12 season. No player on the active roster had any tournament experience until the team's 86-80 over Florida Gulf Coast.
As FSU found ways to keep FGCU at bay, the Seminoles also had to contend with not letting the moment become overwhelming.
