My mom is in her early 70s (step father late 70s) and looking to sell her condo in North Miami and move in to a more senior friendly complex in the area. Figured some people on the LR may have family members who did the same or are in nice places. Any ideas?

Tell her move back home where she belongs - on Longuyland. Her and a million of her closest friends.
J/K. Sort of.

Century Village. Kings Point. They need to be somewhere that has buses and clubhouses and multiple pools for schmoozing. But seriously, a large place with buses to the grocery store and shopping is likely necessary.

My mom is off the boat German and has lived in Miami since 86. Not sure she fit in with those long islanders.

If they need driving assistance then Century Village or Kings Point is the way to go. If they don't then West Boca, West Delray or West Boynton Beach is full of older people.

Also, Long Island is awesome, partially cause I was born there and partially cause it just is.
