There was a thread up a while back, can't find it anymore. I'm looking for some new sheets, any recommendations?

Somebody had a way to buy hotel style ones........that sounded good!

I got 3 sets of these a few months ago because the price was unreal and I could return them if they sucked (Amazon Prime member). They're really inexpensive but not "cheap" and are HELLA comfortable because of their blend.

Hmm, that's a really good price. I might have to pick up 100 or so of them for my addiction centers. I just ordered one to try out and if it's as good as you say, I'll buy a bunch. Maybe even 200.

C'mon Tribe. Open the wallet a bit. Buy 2,000 sets because if you have them in ONE of your luxury addiction centers you should have them in ALL your addiction centers.

Only setting up 2 so far one in Otown and one in PCB. But the intention is to expand quickly once we have the right sales force. So 2 until we find the right sales/marketing people, then once we're happy probably six more within a year of the original and hopefully more thereafter. I might be a smaller partner in an unaffiliated one in St Augustine and a separate unaffiliated one in Palm Beach but they're moving slower as I'm not running the complete show in those.

Will they actually help people kick their addictions?

Will they actually help people kick their addictions?

The first visit almost never works for life regardless of who or what it is. Usually the pattern is hit low point if they survive then enter into recovery where they learn the skills necessary to deal with their addiction, stick to it 6 months to a year and get sloppy/lazy and hit another low point where they go back into a recovery Center where hopefully this time it actually sticks. The success rate for a first visit usually hovers around 30% and if somebody claims better than that it's because they stopped following them after six months to a year. The success rate the second time is MUCH higher.

But yeah, the intention is to get them better. You don't need repeat customers or even a lot of first time customers when you're charging $55,000 a head per month. The staff (including ind contractors like yoga instructors, massesus, dietician a, clergy etc..) to patient ratio we're shooting for is close to 2:1 with group therapy in the 8-10 range with us running multiple groups simultaneously.

We'll be able to treat about 100 with the first two centers per month and our immediate expansion plans would be about 500 per month next year. So we are not setting up the min you can get away with in order to get the $16k insurance will pay you, these are going to be the absolute high end resort style is places for those who can afford it.

It's going to take people away from their stressors and triggers (family, friends, work and the news) and put them in a comfortable setting where they'll get 8 hours of pretty intense psychotherapy to go with Suboxone or other medication toteation for those who physically require it which they will decompress from by having access to "field trips" to the beaches, theme parks, springs, golf courses and fishing spots around our locations and simultaneously work on their physical and spiritual health with dieticians and healthy whole foods catered locally, yoga, massage, physical therapy, a nice gym, lap pools, sauna and more. Also to help with the decompression following therapy we'll have a very nice chapel, koi ponds, large reef tanks, a large garden, and calm meditative spots in common areas plus an amazing 50 person theatre for live and televised events.

So basically you spoil the addict so bad that when they get released back into the crappy real work they pretty much have to use drugs again. Brilliant business strategy. Client LTV has got to be 250k+. Need an online marketer? I'll provide you with as many clients as you can handle for 20% commission.

If they can afford us, it's not really spoiling. Although we're doing some intensive outpatient therapy for locals as a courtesy for the community and they'll have access to everything but the rooms and "field trips" so they might be spoiled. Unfortunately no straight forward commission is allowable because of kickback and patient brokering laws, but less straightforward bonuses is how you compensate good performers. And yes we are doing plenty of online marketing, but old school in person reps in northern cities is are main strategy.

Yep, that's exactly what my thought was. I've been really happy with them and didn't need to to spend hundreds for comfortable good sheets.

So after ordering I read some reviews and they weren't too great, people were pissed that they weren't egyptian cotton and were poly instead and others said they were thin and ripped easily. I almost cancelled, but for 25 bucks and delivery is tomorrow I figured Id give em a shot and return them if they sucked. What's your impression on the quality of these?

I read those too and almost did the same thing... but waited it out to try them for myself. They're not fancy by any means and don't have that "million dollar" look to them. But they look like normal bed sheets and we've had ours for a little over 3 months (we rotate our pair as we wash the other - gray and purple)... and they are still like new. No rips or seams coming apart. Nothing.

They feel great and are super comfortable. They aren't Egyptian cotton. I believe the description even states that they're a blend of other materials. Whatever they are, it's comfy. Be sure to follow the washing directions... maybe thejack-wagons complaining about rips aren't following the directions?

Wash on cold cycle with NO fabric softener and dry on delicate. I throw in a fabric sheet in the drying cycle and it's been fine.

Got em but haven't used em yet. Seem better than what some of the neg reviews were stating. Feel pretty soft and for $25 seem legit.
