When the wife gets home from having been out of town for a couple of days and sends a picture of the SUV loaded with crap from IKEA and says "I have been unloading all these goodies." The appropriate response is not, "I have something for you to unload."

Who knew?

IKEA?! Was Winn-Dixie out of milk crates?

Your mis-step was not prefacing your response with "take that sheet back to Ikea and when you get back............I have something for you to unload"

I laughed out load....well played. Your follow up should be "rewards are expected" for your effort to assemble said furniture.

If I had a way of accessing a picture account at work, I would. @dmm5157 and @smhnole and a few others have met my wife. I'll let them speak to whether or not it was appropriate.

If what part was appropriate? @vevois23 asking his wife to unload something else? Yeah, I think that was an appropriate response on his part.

She's petite, so maybe a better response was, "After I help you unload that, I've got something you can unload".
