So they arrested the biggest drug dealer at my kid's high school yesterday

And turns out his parents were part of it as well.

According to Cpl. Doug Rainwater, John Cooper Coleman, Holly Jean Coleman and John Christopher Coleman were arrested at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday after a search warrant of 4810 Dartmoor Lane in Cumming led deputies to marijuana, cocaine, MDMA, THC wax and drug related objects within the house.

All arrested with possession with intent to distribute. You think the arrest time was a coincidence?

I suppose a family affair drug business isn't that unusual, but it is pretty out of character for this area.

Nah, but I don't know anybody really after living here 15+ years. I guess I'm pretty anti-social. If they weren't in my son's Boy Scout Troop there would be no way I'd really know somebody by name.

My daughter knew OF the boy, thinks she had one class with him as a freshman. But she knew his rep as a dealer, which means he wasn't trying to hide it. There's 3000 kids in the school, so if you make a name for yourself there, you're really working.

They've literally had kids die in my daughter's grade, and not only did she not know them, nobody she KNOWS knew them. At least 2+ degrees of separation. That was kind of mind boggling...it was sad and tragic, but only in an abstract "what a shame" sense. Here it was someone in her own grade in her own high school...and it was no more resonant than reading about a random student who died in some school in another state.

Unfortunate....it's hard to find a one-stop shopping drug dealer. Such a pain in the ass to go over to this side of town for that, then the other side of town to buy this....
