Puerto Rico has had hundreds recently and today a 7.7 quake between Cuba and Jamaica. Supposibly felt even in Miami.

Better question. You think it could cause tsunami in Florida?

I am by no means a geology expert but I have watched every documentary on TV in the last 2.5 months. One of the programs was about tsunamis hitting the US coast. FL would be in the most danger from an earthquake in the lower Atlantic and more so off the African coast.

There are volcanoes in the Caribbean so it stands to reason that there are faults and earthquakes.

I’m glad I live 14 miles inland.
Does anyone know when the last giant tsunami hit Florida?
I live about 15 miles inland, too. I just recall small tsunamis so I can't help you in your quest and thirst for more tsunami knowledge. I'm sure Jim Cantori (if you get him away from a mirror) could possibly help you.
Happy Good Will Hunting!
