Hey everyone, just wanted to pass along the info for this week's sod talk which of course features FSU legend Marvin Jones who will have his jersey retired during the game on Saturday night.

Saturday's SodTalk at the Sod Cemetery at 6:30 p.m. will feature one of Florida State football's most legendary players, linebacker Marvin Jones.
Jones, whose #55 will be retired Saturday at the FSU-Miami game, was a two-time consensus All-American who won both the Butkus and Lombardi Awards and was the 1992 Sporting News College Football Player of the Year. After being chosen fourth in the first round of the 1993 NFL draft, he had an 11 year NFL career with the New York Jets, where he was an All-Pro selection.
Marvin Jones hit against Miami in 1992, attached, is one of the most iconic photographs in FSU athletics history. When the Seminoles encouraged his selection for the Butkus Award, they mailed a poster which simply showed this photo with the quotation: "Marvin Jones is the best linebacker in college football- Miami Head Coach Dennis Erickson."
Marvin Jones will be available for autographs before and after the SodTalk. The Sod Cemetery is located between the Bobby Bowden Statue and Dick Howser Stadium.
