Did anyone see those Storied SEC shows last night on ESPN, not SEC Network, about Auburn's and Mizzou's 2013 seasons? They spent a whole hour on how Auburn overcame adversity and a winless SEC record in 2012 to become SEC champs in back to back maricle finishes to UGA and Bama. They touched on losing to us in the national title game very briefly, but gave us little credit.
That was followed by an hour on how great Michael Sam was for coming out of the closet with his teammates and how everyone including the student body protected him. How courageous it was for him profess his sexuality. A pure love fest for Sam, Washington, and Mizzou football in general. At one point Sam said he talked to Mason after the game and he told him if Mizzou held their gaps in the SEC Championship game Mizzou would have won and played for a NT. What about the team that won the NT? Sam even admitted to not playing his best in the bowl game so he wouldn't get hurt for the NFL draft, but on the last play he needed to step up and get a sack to win the Cotton Bowl. What a drama queen and coward! Go away your 15 min. of fame and football career are over!
All this BS when the greatest story in 2013 was FSU Football. One of the greatest teams in CFB history ignored. Why can't we get a story chronicling the 2013 season on a major network during prime time. Swofford and the ACC did you see that BS last night?
