Is it possible to make a public records request to find out when exactly UF received notification that Grier's B sample tested positive as well?
Something about the timing of his suspension announcement still sounds very fishy to me... McElwain announcing on Monday that the university was made aware of his ineligibility on Sunday - then qualifying the statement by changing it to that's when HE was made aware of it seems strange. Almost impossible to believe the University did not know before the Mizzou game.
How would the University have found out on Sunday? by mail from the NCAA - on a Sunday? By a phone call from the NCAA with lab results - on a Sunday? Just seems very odd/fishy...
Would think the timeline might be discoverable thru a public records request?
