Florida State senior Taylor Huff has signed a professional contract through 2027 with a fourth-year option with NWSL side Bay FC. Huff becomes the 10th Seminole from the 2023 National Championship team to be signed by a professional team and the ninth signing in the past year.

“A professional in every way, she will thrive at the next level,” Florida State head coach Brian Pensky said. “Taylor leaves FSU and college soccer as an incredibly decorated player and is prepared in all ways for the next phase of her career.”

Huff completed her fourth and final season of college play with several accolades from the All-ACC First Team, ACC All-Tournament Team, United Soccer Coaches All-American First Team and All-Atlantic Region First Team along with being named the ACC Tournament MVP. Huff was also named a 2024 Hermann Trophy semifinalist. Huff has scored over 104 career points and led the squad with 12 goals and 10 assists in her final season for 34 total points as a midfielder. She also earned all-conference honors in all four seasons from her two seasons at both Florida State and Tennessee.

“Her ability to impact matches on both sides of the ball is truly unique, and her leadership and competitive spirit were pivotal in leading Florida State to a championship in 2023,” said Bay FC head coach Albertin Montoya. “Taylor embodies the values, soccer IQ, and relentless drive we strive for at Bay FC and are excited to see the energy and excellence she will bring to our team.”

Huff joins former Seminole Deyna Castellanos at the San Jose based club, marking the sixth NWSL club with multiple former FSU players on the roster. Florida State has 14 players playing in the NWSL across seven of the 14 clubs.

Huff will participate at the U.S. Women’s National Team 2025 Futures Camp this month which will feature up-and-coming USWNT prospects. FSU represents four of the 12 players who played college soccer last season, more than any other collegiate team.

Bay FC will begin preseason play against Seattle Reign FC on Feb. 16 at the 2025 Coachella Valley Invitational in Indio, California.
