Taylor Huff's goal with minutes to go gives FSU season-opening win

They played without 2 starters who just got back from playing in the World Cup for their countries. I was impressed with many of the new players and the style of play. It was a ragged game as per usual for FSU in the first couple games of the season, with errant passes and miscommunications, but the fact they ended up winning in heat that started at 105 degrees, on the road, without some of their best players in a good sign. Bad news is that their left back went down early with a knee injury. Hopefully, it isn't season ending.

Sunday they play another Texas team on the road, this time a top 10 team, TCU. Hopefully, they can get some playing time from the women who just rejoined the team this week.

Any word on the extent of Rain's injury? Hope it isn't a torn ACL!
I would be shocked at anything less than a season ending injury. Hope I'm wrong.
She had a sudden stop and change of direction, very ACL type of movement.
Carted off the field and on crutches, non weight bearing.
