It was long and poorly written. But basically it boils down to a former law student who never passed the bar exam in any state abusing the law to harass dumb people who took him in due to pity. He wasn’t really even doing it for profit, he just was a psycho who enjoyed dicking with people.

I had a couple really bad roommates but nothing quite like that. And yes, one of those was a law student.

That would be far too broad, the world is full of those.

First reaction was how bad the writing was. Just constantly jumping around.

Feel bad for the victims who then felt bad for him being dead. Besides him getting kicked out, they had zero to do with him decided to become a murderer and then commit suicide. Best result overall IMO.
