Did you know places like Cinebon put incense in their air filtration systems to mimic the smell of fresh baked buns? They really only do a few major bakes a day but it smells like they are always cooking. Indoor bbq restaurants do the same. I was shown some of the incense canisters, unreal. I've been had

They do. It's marketed under the brand name, "Summer in Paris."

Yes, but it is only a matter of time until some nearby resident complains and they have to spend inordinate amounts of money to get rid of the smell...

Don't get me wrong, I do a lot of BBQ as some on here know, but not sure I want to smell it 24/7 when i walk out my door so I understand the complaint (if you don't know this is a big story in Austin, TX)

I like how casinos think enough about everyone's health by pumping in pure oxygen to keep you fresh and frosty!

After all the raving about the place we tried it a few weeks ago. Computers were down, so people were standing on the sidewalk outside while they had empty tables inside. Got tired of it and walked across the parking lot to Burgerfi. That place is outstanding.

Finally got into 4rivers two weeks later. Don't care for their South Carolina style sauce, and the wife didn't like their sweet sauce. The sausage was a plain as a hotdog. I'm not even sure how they accomplished that. There really wasn't anything about it that made me want to come back and try something else.
I like the sauce at Up In Smoke, they said they were going to start bottling and selling it, but I don't know if that's happened.

Up in Smoke? I guess to each his own, but I've never been a fan of that place.

I guess I've been two or three times. I'm not a huge BBQ fan, but if I can find a good mustard based BBQ sauce I can eat just about anything.
I really, really like the SC style sauce they had at Smokey Bones, and never had a problem with the food being as bland as it was at 4Rivers when we went.
If I could find the sauce that Smokey Bones was selling over the counter I'd probably eat out BBQ even less.
