With the way the Bucs defense has played today, Lovie needs to give the play calling duties back to Frazier.

Jameis is in for a long season. He hasn't played very well, and his defense hasn't stopped anything!

Lovie is supposed to be a defensive guru. He just got wiped by a rookie.

Honestly it was the play of his defense that made Mariota look good. Jameis had nothing to do with the Bucs defense giving up 25 points. Jameis only contributed 7 points to that effort

Yeah, Jameis had his work cut out for him on several fronts, his OL is learning on the fly, he was missing Evans, the defense, well they decided to stay home yesterday, and people forget that Dick Lebeau is like a 50 year vet of the NFL as a defensive coordinator and former head coach

I'm not sure that the cover-2 is a defense that works in today's NFL, certainly not as an every down defense. There are simply too many 3-4 wr sets and 3 wr sets with TE's who can get down the field and exploit the openings.

The first qtr yesterday looked like an nfl team vs a high school defense as poorly as the bucks played.
