I listened to a few Clemson podcasts and have heard some Clemson callers into finebaum and here is what I have surmized.
Clemson fans have completely dismissed FSU as a peer, they did beat bama I give them that but that feat does not mean you are now on par with bama and FSU is below that tier.
They talk like it is them and bama and everyone else.
Dabo, saban and urban. I hear Clemson fans saying they are equal to bama in recruiting, all the while showing little acknowledgement for FSU. It is a classic case of the "new rich", like they have been there before.
Fwiw I put 4 teams in top tier, bama Clemson FSU and osu, that's where I stand.
We have to beat Clemson and bama this year, it's the one year in all my years I would trade the Florida and um win for those two. We would get um back in the acc championship and maybe Florida in the playoff.
