Jim Brown was a one of a
kind. Could there be another close to what he was in the NFL. Karlos Williams
has the size, but more speed. Jim was the only NFL RB to ever rush for 100 yard
a game or more and 5 yard per carry. What about Jacques Patrick who resembles
Jim's stature even more? I'm not saying we have two or even one Jim Brown, but
image having someone like Jim Brown come out of our program. The future is
bright and I am excited.

No, because I am asking if there will ever be another Jim Brown, then I compared Karlos and Jacques stature to him. I never said they were the next Jim Brown.

It would be hard in the way the NFL uses its running back by committee these days. I think Los has an opportunity BC he has good hands out of the backfield. Which almost all NFL teams are looking for today. The way Jimbo is recruiting I believe we will have a lot of big name all pros here very shortly.

Offensive football was different when Brown played, they didn't throw the ball nearly as much as teams do now, the QB is the focus now far more than back in the 60's and 70's. You will never have another Jim Brown caliber guy with top numbers

Never, not because of of the development of the game, but the development of the players.

Wikipedia has him listed at 6'2" 232 (I'm assuming this is his playing weight)

So looking at http://www.pro-football-reference.com/

two of the all pros in the 1957 season (when brown was drafted) were Art Donovan and Gino Marchetti I used those two because we'll I knew the names.

Donovan DT - 6'2" 260
Marchetti DE - 6'4" 244

Jim Brown was almost as big as the All-Pro DLine men. His size combined with his talent led him to being as good as he was. No one will ever be on his level because almost like Wilt Chamberlain there will never be such a size difference. I almost feel like Brown learned about strength and conditioning training years before everyone else.

For reference All pros 2013
Adrian Peterson - 6'1 217
J.J. Watt - 6'5" 289
Ndamukong Suh 6'4" 307

You can't forget his lacrosse career as well. In the sense that we will have multi-sport stars with that kind of impact it's hard to believe.

Athletes are more specialized and focused nowadays, even a guy like Winston has to "sacrifice" time for one sport or another. The world has changed.

The thing about Brown was his resiliency. Yes, he got hurt, but he always conducted himself in the same manner on the field regardless of his physical condition and only missed one game in his nine-year career. A physical freak like Brown would be successful in any era, but in an NFL where the defenders are now much stronger and faster and with the increased emphasis of the passing game due to rule changes over the years, JB would probably just be another top RB nowadays. Put a Marshawn Lynch back in his era, and he may have accomplished similar feats (if he could have stayed healthy).
