The National Football League does not care what anyone else thinks about prospective players. Literally no one. They have millions of dollars at stake. They may talk to a kid's coach, just like college's coaches talk to the HS coaches, but make no mistake, the NFL does their own (very thorough) player evaluations. Two points here...

1) The NFL doesn't give a damn what ESPN, the NYT, or any other hater media outlet says about a player. They will reach their own unique conclusion after the combine, Pro Days, and background checks.

2) The NFL does not wear Garnet and Gold glasses. (Not much else is needed here, right?)

Draft Day will be very telling in terms of how realistic everyone views players like Winston, Darby, Williams and Edwards.

I cannot wait to see how it unfolds.
