This off season our guys were thinking of what music to play, what uniforms to wear and coming up with some symbol to “secure the bag”. That line in particular is exactly what the problem is. These guys are completely entitled selfish kids. It’s not about securing your future to the NFL, it’s about working your ass off and playing together as a team to WIN.
Vtech brings the lunch pail because they think of themselves as the blue collar junk yard dog team. Syracuse thought of themselves as the two star guys who bring down the big guys. These guys play with a chip on their shoulder to win as a team.
The new staff did nothing to chance that selfish culture, in fact they only made it worse. I thought last season was going to humble these guys but obviously if did not. Taggart is worried about a new 50 million football facility and the kids was some more crap music to dance to.
Don’t worry your opponents are focused to kick your asses, and they are doing a fine job at it.
