The worst sports time of the year?

I hate "now".as a sports fan. All college sports over. Pro hoops and hockey over. Pro baseball in the middle of the season when it's easy to lose interest until closer to the penant chase. No football. The U.S. Open is worthwhile and NASCAR is a pretty good show, but IMHO "now" is the most boring time of the sports year. Am I wrong?
