Think Tampa Bay Bucs are following the accuser?

Just a thought. I've read TB has had numerous PI's and interviews with people of Jameis' past. That's to be expected. We've also seen that teams are literally stalking him on airplanes (okay, maybe not literally stalking).

So that begs the question: are NFL teams checking into the accuser? Following her around, seeing her habits and behaviors? Would Jameis' law team do something like that?

I don't really know how that would all work, but I'd be interested to know the details. I have a feeling a person would find out a lot more about her by following her for a few weeks than you would Jameis.

Are they considering drafting her?

This would be an interesting development, if so.

I don't think they give a rats azz about her. They have read all the reports and talk to enough people and done the research to know Jameis did not rape that girl so it does not matter what she does.

Uncle Pat and family will get to see JWs smiling mug every single day in the papers and on the news in Tampa.

And when they are crushed in the civil case the truth will finally come out.

Their efforts to extort have completely failed. They're not going to see a penny, and they managed zero effect on Jameis' draft prospects.

Someone should get the post draft photo with Jameis and his #1 Bucs jersey and wrap her office with about a million of them.

There will be no civil case. Winstons people will settle far far far from court and out of the media. Even if it was a slam dunk win for him they will avoid the uneeded publicity. Sadly she will get some cash and disappear.

You either missed the point or decided to ignore it.

To put it easily, if there's any concern of the allegations, I'd think looking into the alleger to see her behaviors could be telling.

*Disclaimer - even if she's a total whore, it doesn't mean she can't be/have been raped at some point.

It's a sad state of affairs that she's been trying to tarnish his image only so she can get paid.

Jameis' people will NEVER settle w/ her. Nor should they.

She will not even sue Jameis. Her only chance for $$$$ is her case against FSU.

Definitely, if they had any thought of settling, they would have done so a long time ago. And settling now, might be the worst thing Jameis could do, short of openly admitting his guilt. Public consensus is that he got away with rape, settling is almost always taken as an admission of guilt by the public.

Heck, even as an ardent believer in his innocence, settling now would become the thing that causes me to doubt his innocence the most.

If Winston was going to settle, he would have long before now.

No.

I doubt Tampa Bay would spend any time or resources following her. All they have to do is read all of the police reports and witness statements. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see he did not rape her. I'm sure they had their legal department scour through all the documents and came to the same conclusion TPD, Willie Meggs, and Justice Harding came to.
