I think Meggs only charged in this case because of the DJ incident and not wanting it to look like he is going easy on FSU players. Reading the Probable Cause affidavit I will be shocked if this isn't dropped within a month. If it went to a jury Cook will be exonerated because unless they have something else that isn't in te report there is no way that Meggs can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Cook did this. She has one witness on her side and they couldn't ID Cook. Cook has Francois and a few other witnesses on his side. My guess is Meggs will drop this before it ever goes to a jury so as not to waist eveybodies time. I wonder who Cook will get to represent him. Jansen?
