We had an honest, ethical man lead our program for decades. We achieved much success during that time. I can be proud of that. But this I would never be proud of and would never be able to cheer on. I will judge Norvell not on wins and losses, but on us never becoming like Ohio State. Norvell will either turn us around or not. But if he acts in morally upright ways, then I can hold my school up as something to be proud of.

So you either have to enable domestic abusers or you lose football games? I’ll judge Norvell on Ws and Ls, not being a terrible person is a minimum requirement. We all want Norvell to represent our program with class, and he has, but he’s getting paid $5M per year to win games.
