I understand that this was DJ’s first game for FSU, but he has 50 career starts in his career with many of those in big games. Let him attack through the air. GT was putting 7 and 8 in the box to stop the run. After the big reviewed catch by Douglas on the sideline that put us at 1st and 10 at midfield, the next 3 plays were ….. running play for 1 yard gain, running play for 1 yard loss, and running play that was stuffed. At midfield, the playbook should be wide open. I know players have to execute but to me, the coaches did not put out players in situations to be successful. Way too conservative and no adjustments made. Thoughts?
