Greedy Vance will be the first one up.

Says he was looking for a place to get closer to home. That's why he entered the portal.

Says Coach Woodson texted him when he was in the portal, said he couldn't get him in high school but wanted him in the portal. "I thought it was a real good decision for myself."

Says he doesn't know what position it will be yet, nickel, corner, etc.

Says a lot of people look at him like, 'Oh, he's small." But he says he's an exciting, disciplined player, that's fun to watch.

Says he is a bit of a talker on the field, depends on the situation.

"I see a coaching staff that really cares about its players, I see players that really care for the other players ... hold each other accountable .. just motivating players day in and day out, things like that."

Says he knows all of the Louisiana players on the roster. "makes me more comfortable, makes me get adjusted faster."

Says he was getting offers from schools that didn't offer him in high school. And it was reassuring that people knew how good he was, "but I had to make a decision fast, because I wasn't a person that wanted to be in the portal a long time."

Says Greedy Williams was someone he looked up to in high school. He went to an LSU camp and played well, and the nickname kind of just stuck.

Says he has good relationships with Omarion Cooper, Knowles, Jarrian Jones in the defensive backfield.

Says he feels most confident in man to man. "It's just kind of like betting on yourself."

And that's a wrap for Greedy Vance.

Johnny Wilson is up next.

He says ultimately wanted to go somewhere where he could be used a little bit better, where everyone was focused on production, getting players better in development. ... Says once he reached out to FSU he had a long talk with Norvell about what he could be, what he could do at FSU.

Says he's known Pittman since middle school. "He really kind of chopped it up with me after I hit the portal ... telling me the great things Florida State had to offer." So he looked into it and reached out to Norvell.

"Just hearing him talking about how he could help develop me as a receiver and maximize my skillset and the offense he would like to run. He made a promise to me that I'm not going to let you be an average receiver. I'm going to force you to be great. ... I like to be pushed."

Says the portal wasn't anything like that recruiting in high school. It happened fast. It wasn't schools reaching out all the time. Says he saw the opportunity at Florida State, and that's why he decided to make the decision quick.

"I just want to keep getting better."

Says he takes a lot of pride in working on everything. "It makes you a great receiver." He wants to try to perfect the things that other smaller receivers can do.

Says he brings size and physicality and effort to the position. Says he's a hard worker and he wants to focus on getting stronger and faster while he's here. He says he already feels that happening. Says he hasn't had work like this in a long time, maybe ever. It's been beneficial.

He says he remembers Norvell when he was at Arizona State, and that he coached Jaelin Strong. "That's kind of what started it." When he saw how Anthony Miller was used at Memphis, he said he could see himself being in an offense like that. Said it was a two or three hour conversation on the phone with Norvell and it made him excited about what he could do.

Says he could see himself playing inside or outside. He just wants to do whatever he can to win.

Says if you love the game you're going to play hard, no matter what the play is. "That's always an area you can develop him." He says blocking shows how much love you have for the game.

Says his first game of his sophomore year, against Southern Utah, the first drive of the game, first game with fans in the stadium, and says that was his favorite block. Because he pancaked the DB. He was called for a penalty but says it wasn't one.

Says his freshman year was only a four-game season. "There really wasn't much I could do or show."

And then his second year he only played first four or five games. Missed the rest because of injury. "I just want to play a full season." and he said he wants to win games, he wants to go win a natty. "That's what I want to do." Says he feels like he can do some great things here if he gets the opportunity.

Says the WR group is "going to be a great group." Says they're meeting up as a position group. "We're coming along pretty well. I think we have the potential to do some great things."

Says Jordan Travis was one of the first people to take him in and show him around. Says Travis knows what he wants and where he wants people to be during player-run practices.

Says he's fully recovered from the hamstring injury. He tried to rush getting back last year and could never get fully healthy.

He says the first week here was a shock to his body. He had never lifted before like they lift here, he had never run before like he's run here. "I didn't expect myself to do as good as I was doing in the weight room ... I saw great improvement in just like the first week of being here."

And that's a wrap on Wilson.

Deuce Spann is up next.

He says it's good being back in Florida, his family gets to see him more.

Said the coaching staff has talked to him how he could develop and get the ball in his hands, and how he can help make plays.

Says being close to home was a "big factor" in his decision to leave Illinois.

Says he feels real comfortable playing WR now because he's been in real college games playing that position.

Says he can get stronger, faster and work on his technique. He says he needs to work on everything.

Says FSU liked his speed and thought he could be a playmaker. That's what they told him when they reached out.

Said he had a lot to learn when he made the move from QB.

Said it was tough to switch because he always wanted to be a quarterback, but saw that he could help the team at Illinois more by switching to WR.

Says all the receivers have been helpful in learning the playbook, what the coaches like from WRs.

Says the receivers all want to work, "everybody is just trying to work to be good."

Says he thought about FSU a lot when he was in high school, because he always wanted to play at Florida State. "So, it's great to be here right now."

Says his cousins and mom are all Florida State fans.

That's a wrap on Deuce.

Trey Benson is up next.

Says Norvell and Memphis gave him his first offer in high school.

Says he would only get like 9 or 10 carries a game in high school. He averaged like 17 yards per game. And his QB there is now a RB at Mississippi State. So they crushed opponents and ran for a ton of yards.

Says he can talk to FSU coaches about anything. He met Atkins when he first hit the portal. "We clicked right then. We were like best friends right then."

Says the injury was hard, rehab was every day, says he "tore everything" in his knee. But that it made him who he is today."

Says he's six hours away from home. So, that's fun. His family is afraid to fly. So he wanted to be closer to home so they could come to his games.

Says it was a big opportunity for him with Corbin leaving. "There's not a primary back right now. We're all just going to compete. I'm just here to compete."

Says he was nervous getting in the portal, because he didn't know what to expect. And who would be interested.

"Right now I'm 100 percent. I feel very confident in my knee." Says he was hesitant last season, but now he's 100 percent.

Says he feels like people have forgotten about him a bit because of the injury. Says he's ready to play football.

Says he'll be full go in spring ball. Thinks he's "kind of special" because he's a bigger back but has a lot of speed. "I have power and speed."

Says he loves Cam Akers. Says he tries to model his game after his.

Says he watched Akers since he was in elementary school. Remembers his high school games, remembers the state championship game. He's his favorite player.

That's a wrap on Benson.
And that's a wrap on the day.

Peace and love, folks!
