I posted this in another thread but it seems to have gotten buried and I wanna make sure people see this. I've seen a lot of misinformation posted about Travis in the past few days, so I wanted to clear some of it up. I will post what I know. Travis is one of the best kids you'll ever meet. Incredible kid.

Travis was never set on 3-and-done. Originally, he was set on a degree. He is a smart kid, he just doesn't like school very much. From what I've heard, he just didn't like the school aspect of it. He wasn't dumb, he worked hard and got good grades. He just came to learn in his first 3 years that school work wasn't for him. He is a very good football player, he is getting an opportunity to play football for a living. He is taking it.

Travis' time was a little surprising. I stood and watched Travis run a 4.37 hand clocked time in high school. He is faster than 4.65. I know I know, hand clocked time. But even if it was hand clocked, it still wasn't .3 seconds off. My personal opinion is Travis is a 4.55 guy, and i think he'll show that at FSU's pro day.

I saw someone say Travis might not have worked hard or didn't push himself. Nonsense. Take the crap out of here. There wasn't a harder working receiver on the team. There's a reason he played a lot as a freshman, and was always on the field. He worked his tail off and Jimbo and co knew it. He was a great leader by example, and stayed late to work with Francois this year to work on timing and getting in extra routes. He studied the playbook, studied his routes and worked on them hard. His route running is his best attribute, and he worked very hard at it. His hands were next, and again, he worked very hard on it. No one was more upset than himself when he dropped a pass. Another really great attribute Travis had was his quickness and cutting ability. He was able to stop on a dime and change direction very fast. He had very good juke moves but sometimes tried to use them too often. We definitely saw them on display more than a few times tho.

In my opinion, I think he should have come back. But then again, my opinion is biased because I wanted him to come back. I loved watching TR, and really hope he kills it in the NFL. He is an incredible ambassador for FSU, and I am incredibly proud to have had Travis as a member of FSU these past 3 years. Couldn't ask for a better kid to be apart of this team and make such a positive impact in his time at FSU. I'll always root for Travis and wish him the best going forward. I know he'll do the same for FSU. If I get anything more of I remember something that I forgot to add in here, I'll edit this post or just add to the thread.
