A fake IRS call has really perked up my day. My relatives sometimes call me when they are concerned with legal matters. Today one of them called me, very upset about the phone call regarding IRS lawsuit that was pending.....after assuring them they were, of course, fine, I called the number back and just had a fabulous time messing with them....asking them questions like,"If I donate a kidney, would that count as a charitable contribution?" "If I'm running a brothel, can I deduct educational expenses for the girls..." and on and on... I know, huge waste of time, but if they are talking to me, they are defrauding fewer people. 239 826 6323 -Feel free to join in.

Oh and they do have called ID so when I tried to go with Slartibartfast for my name, they picked up on it. Have fun!

I get a ton of scammer calls, at least one per day, from that area code, Naples area I believe. Apparently there are a ton of them in SW FL.

What is sad and I guess a little pathetic is how many people actually fall for that stuff. I get it you hear IRS and get a little nervous; but to give them personal info and other stuff is beyond me.
