I just skimmed the whole article, but I didn't see where lawyers or judges had any involvement in this. So your comment befuddles me. Was he out on bail or something?

Our criminal justice system didn’t have anything to do with a 19 years old being free on the streets with a criminal record that includes gun charges, aggravated battery and assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and grand theft?

I just reread the entire article, and I don't see any reference to this in it? It may be true, but not from what's been posted. Or was that in the video portion, which I didn't watch. Was there any indication that he was convicted or pled guilty to any of the charges?
