Didn't see a thread for last night's episode...had to watch tape delayed due to Noles beating Xavier!

#1 - Loved Rick going after Negan...Negan was really crapping himself and knows he can't handle Rick without Lucille or a gun.

#2 - Interesting dynamic with Simon and Dwight. What do you think Dwight will do? He knows his fate with Rick and Co., and w/o Negan, what's his status with the Saviors. hhhmmmm

#3 - Glad Michone is trying to honor Carl Maggie's real close to becoming the next Negan if she's not careful.

All-in-all, the episode started out slow, but ended strong.

I understand it's the storyline and they can't kill Negan yet, but the writers could do a much better job.

It's dissapointing when Rick is presented with yet another EASY opportunity to kill Negan, yet he goes full Stormtrooper mode and can't do anything right. Sprays bullets all over the car, throws down the loaded machine gun, can't hit him from feet away with a six shooter, then throws his axe at him, like his aim will be better. At this point it seems more plausible that Rick is purposely not trying to kill him.

Simon is toast, wonder how much longer he will be around.

Ratings are now down to lowest level since season 2.

I thought it was a good episode. I see a gruesome end for Simon. I have a feeling Dwight redeems himself somehow before its over. Don't know what to make of the new group yet.

I was waiting for Negan to walk up during Simon's Soap Box and introduce him to Lucille; however, Jadis having him was a pleasant surprise.

Figure Jadis is going to tell Negan what happened at the dump and Negan will take care of him after convincing Jadis to let him go.

I loved the episode. Could have done with out introducing new people, but I guess they served a purpose!

It's just silly at this point.

Ya the entire fight scene between Negan and Rick with the walkers and fire was kind of straight out of a low production b movie.

With a few exceptions this pretty much sums up the entire series. Opportunity missed of a great fight scene with a flaming Lucille, Rick and Negan in the dark. Where was the anger, the vengeance or the gore of the two main characters trying to kill each other that we should have felt as viewers? All the walkers standing around on fire and interfering with this moment made the set awkward and congested.

While I think the actors that play Negan and Simon do a great job and bring some entertainment to the show, the rest are reading the same lines in different settings for far too long. Overall a better episode in a better second half of this season compared to a very low bar this show has set that somehow keeps some of us coming back....for now.
