Advertise your big list in Craigslist classified - and you can chose as many cities as you wish (copy/paste your ad wherever you wish). The first response will undoubtedly be "Condition?" so go proactive and take a few pics to post with your ad..pics of the vinyl, not just the album cover, for a few of the major ones

I know that. I'm asking what's a reasonable price. Good condition, not mint. Minimal cover wear, no record rings, and all have inner jackets in good condition...

For those bands I wouldn't expect more than $2 per album in near mint condition. Now if you had some vintage Captain Beefheart or Brian Eno you could make some decent cash.

My neighbor owns a record store in Pensacola, Revolver Records, I think he has a facebook page.

I've got Willie, Waylon, and Woody Guthrie, Jimmy Buffett, Lyle Lovett, and Bobbie Gentry, Jerry Jeff, Bob Dylan, Donnie Fritts, The Dead and The Doors, Patsy Cline, John Prine and more. I've got Jackson Browne, Townes Van Zandt, Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Harry Chaplin, Guy Clark, Van Halen. Got Rita, Kris, Keith Sykes and Country Joe (when he was singing with The Fish, you know). I got Emmylou, U2, and Arlo. James Taylor, Jimmy Rogers, Hank Williams and Mojo Nixon, Hendrix, Haggard, and a whole lot more in that dusty old pile of vinyl record I've got sitting on my floor.

My childhood flashed through my eyes reading that list.

What you really need to work hard to avoid is having your list cherry-picked, or you will be stuck with the 80 albums that nobody wants. sell them in one big lot, or split it evenly into 2 lots, but don't get caught up single record sales for $3 after 4 rounds of interrogation/negotiation.

Bread? Mannilow? Stewart? Streisand?

Please tell me this is your wife's collection.

Thanks. Some soundtracks on vinyl are hard to find compared to popular classic rock that has been reissued on 180 and 200 gram over the last few years.

I don't think I have anything of real value except for the Beatles White Album and maybe an old Bowie one...

You should save them for the zombie apocalypse

Most of those are quite common and sell for a few dollars at any antique mall. Pink Floyd and the Beatles can be a little more pricey, you might be able to get $10 for some of those on craigslist if they are in great condition. If the Stones records are early, those too. Most of those will never sell individually though.

However, as a collection, it's pretty solid. As someone else suggested, sell the whole lot together. You could potentially find someone getting back into vinyl who wants to jump start their collection. It probably wouldn't be as much as you think they should be worth, but I think you could move the whole collection for $150-200.
