Apparently I am in the minority on this issue. There has been some rather tough criticism of Golson (especially from a rival website). However, I have been very pleased with the production we have gotten from Golson this far. Yes, he had a terrible first half yesterday. He missed open guys, hesitated and was jittery in the pocket. However, both games he has made some elite throws and has 5 tds and 0 turnovers. Yes, there is work to be done. But folks I watched a lot of games yesterday and I didn't see many QBs dropping back reading Ds and hitting NFL level passes all over the field. I saw a lot of very average QB play - even from Ohio State. We can be very successful with Golson, IMO. Especially as he gets more comfortable and Jimbo gets a better feel for how to utilize his abilities. I suppose I'm part of the delusional part of the fan base that thinks we have just about as good a QB as 95 % of the other teams out there. I am happy we have Golson and I think we're going to be pretty explosive as the season goes on. Go Noles!
