American Social is a cool spot especially for night games. Its right on the Miami River BUT you have to make reservations and its in Brickell/Downtown so parking rates are high. Also, if you are over the age of 40 you will feel ancient as this is the spot the younger Miami Noles go to (recent grads, alums in their 20s, etc). I have not seen a game yet at the Ale House in Doral but I heard its a good place too. A lot depends on where you are staying.

UPDATE: The Miami Seminole Club no longer watches the games at the Ale House. They have a new place - THE TANK BREWERY. I went there for the Boosters Coach Taggert Meet and Greet and it seemed like a cool place. The only issue they had was sound coming from where Coach was speaking. I am not sure how good it will be for game watching. Its an open space with tables and the food and beer was good. I may check it out Monday night for the Va. Tech game.

The other location - American Social is still the other spot to watch it.

Thanks for the update.....we are staying at the Sheraton by the airport, flying to Italy Tuesday afternoon

The Tank is closer to the Airport and an easy Uber ride from your hotel. I just got back from Italy. Where are you going? I wanna go back. :)
We are heading to Venice for 4 days, then taking a train to Florence(staying in Tuscany 3 days) then on to Rome for the last 4 days....can't wait!

We did our trip in reverse. Did Rome first then rented a car and stayed in Tuscany (just outside of Lucca) and drove all over the place. If you can swing it take the train to Cinque Terre. The most beautiful scenery on the coast similar to the Amalfi coast to the south. You are going to love it. I wish a had a little more time in Florence. We just went for the day on the train from Lucca.

4 days in Venice? That's about 2.5 too many.

Florence is great for a longer stay, proximity to Greve in Chianti, Pisa, and of course Cinqueterra. Plus any number of smaller villages all over the place around there.

Cinque Terre was my favorite part of the my trip. Also loved exploring Montepulciano. Pisa is a few hours at most. We were staying close to Pisa so we went for the afternoon, saw the tower then had dinner there and came back to the farmhouse we were staying at.

We only had one day to see as much as we could of CT. What we did was take the train from La Spezia to the fourth town Vernazza. Had an amazing lunch there and then for 20 Euro per person took a boat down the coast to the first town up to really get to see the towns from the water. It was a personal motorboat for 6 people and the guy driving it is a local and told us all about CT. You can pick the boat up right there in the harbor in Vernazza. Then he dropped us off at the first town Riomaggiore where we explored some of the town and then picked up the train back to La Spezia where our car was parked.

That definitely sounds doable & a good idea. Weather looks a little sketchy right now so a trip just might be in order. Appreciate the info

I cant remember the name of the company for the boat but the guy is located at the end of the dock (by the sea wall) and sits under an umbrella with a sign with the trips and prices. They run out of Vernazza because it has the largest dockage area.
