**** Spoiler below ****

Great episode. Wolves show themselves, strangely they have no weapons or ammo.
Morgan and Carol (in wolves clothing) repeal the attack almost single handed.

Thoughts?

Can someone refresh my memory....what is the deal with Morgan and Carol?

It really was a fantastic episode. Carl still being Carl.

Good episode. Lately I like the episodes with fewer zombies better than the ones with lots.

Lots of good stuff in this episode, interest in the show much improved, looking forward to next episode.

BTW when did Eugene grow a sense of humor? Disliked him early on but don't find him as annoying anymore.

I don't think Morgan and Carol had any history. Both times Rick ran into Morgan he was by himself.

That's what I don't get about then. Why all the animosity? I guess it's because he has this zen, don't kill people thing and she is kill anything/anyone.

Maybe she is afraid that Morgan's presence will bring Rick back down from the edge. The edge where I believe she put him.

Morgan saw through Carol's denmother facade last episode, so his reaction was probably "I was right about you all along". On another note, it seemed like Enid was about to make some sort of admission ("that's how we were able to") when Carl interrupted her. Or did I miss something?

I would imagine Rick talked about him and neither version of Morgan (the goody two shoes from season one or the crazed version in season three) would be someone Carol would appreciate.

Same thoughts re: Eugene. What's the deal with him and Tara? I thought she liked the ladies but they seem to be really close.

I know I am in the very small minority, but I have never, and still don't, like Carol at all. Actually I have wanted her to get eaten up for quite some time.

I'm in that minority too. Not a fan of the "I have to fit in so I'm going to act like the useless denmother" routine. Kind of thought she needed to be the role model for the women and children of Alexandria the way she was at the prison.

Re: Eugene and Tara, wasn't she the first to kind of forgive him for his lie? She reminded the group how she was let in after being with the Governor and could relate to Eugene, or something like that. I may be completely mis-remembering though.

The Suzy Homemaker persona is not to fit in, it's camouflage so that the Alexandrians would not recognize her as a threat if Rick's group needed to take over. Mischone as a young athletic looking black chick with a sword was never going to disguise herself nor would Rick, but Carol (the most dangerous of them all really as she has very little remorse) could be placed into hiding until needed.

My friends i was watching with thought what Enid was saying was inferring that maybe she was a spy for the Wolves or something, but I didn't buy that. I thought maybe she and Carl had been sneaking out regularly to...ya know...get to know each other better.

I immediately thought that she was a Wolf but after watching Talking Dead it seems less likely that this is true since they were treating the character as one that will be with us in a positive way for quite some time.

So is she gone for good from the show?

yes! this! this is what I'm surprised no one has said earlier. and dummy Carl didn't pick up on it when she was talking about how (paraphrasing) "the place is indefensible, too large, which is why we were able to..." and she trails off.

I don't think her being a future positive character negates the possibility of her having been a wolf spy.

A lot of us suspected and discussed the possibility that she was a spy last season when she kept sneaking out. She had the wolf comic and no real connections to anyone in Alexandria. From this episode it seems more likely that she is a spy for the wolves. She seems really calm during the attack and had all of those keys. For some reason the wolves never attempted to raid Carl's house. Maybe she was the one that led the wolves into Noah's families community as well. We wont know for sure until we see the leaders of the wolves.

Thought the scene with the lady getting whacked by the wolf member while smoking was very good.

I agree. The people have always been the most dangerous and have added a majority of the intense scenes in this show.

I wonder if Morgan knocked the wolf guy out to get information later or killed him? I suspect he killed him but it would be smart to extract information from him on where the rest are hiding out.

Little less talk, and a lot more action. That's what I was saying to myself during that episode. People sitting around having dramatic conversations while others are being slaughtered outside. That's what I wanted to watch, the battle, not the drama. Still love the show, but sometimes I could do away with the hidden agendas and dramatical convos.

Surprising they didn't bump any main characters off. Usually when it's an action packed episode someone always gets killed off

I've been worried about that for the past few episodes... I feel it's due to happen soon. That's why this past episode was so tense, similar to "Too Far Gone" and I was left in shock when Herschel got his head lopped off by the Gov.

So Enid would rather be survivalist Enid than normal kid in zombie apocalypse Enid. Interesting.

Yeah during the Talking Dead the actress said that after seeing her parents die in front of her that she didn't want to have feelings for anyone as it was a weakness and she saw multiple times that no permanent structure was defensible forever.

At this point, shouldn't everyone be hardcore like Carol?
Kill people quick, no hesitation. What's with the lingering, remorseful looks?

The cowards on the show drive me nuts!
