I've wanted to go to Staniel Cay for a while now. That's as far off the grid as I would dare.

The oil rig would be fun for a couple days to get away and check out. But I would likely go stir crazy from such a small footprint. I also need to see and do stuff to really enjoy a vacation. sitting in a cabin with just a view would end up feeling like a waste. 8 days of sitting and doing nothing would feel like a poor use of time and money after 3 or so days.

For me, absolutely. I really miss the sounds of "big water". Waves slapping and crashing are so relaxing. Weirdest dreams I've ever had also involve the motion of the ocean.
