Well, after almost two decades I will NOT renew my subscription next year.......and would have canceled it today if I would have got my prorated charges back.

I just spent 20 minutes "chatting" with someone at rivals..............what really pissed me off is that my subscription had lapsed, because the card they had on record had a date that was old. When I updated my billing data and even though I had selected 'Monthly', as soon as I updated the billing info it ran it as annual and not monthly. I was going to pay monthly till Warchant ran one of those annual specials where they give you credit to 'Garnet & Gold', etc. and then upgrade again. So instead of keeping me as a member indefinitely, Rivals has now lost me for good.

That's exactly what happened to mine, but I was going to switch to the monthly till Warchant ran an annual special so I could get the Garnet and Gold gift card, etc. However, as soon as I entered in the correct billing information it auto-renewed the annual.

Nope, I'm done (in 11.5 months that is). I can get the insider, recruiting, etc. other places for free, so without the gift card, etc. it's not worth the money IMO........I spent 90% of my time here in the LockerRoom, anyway.

What it tells me is they are losing paying members and are trying to entice people to sign. Supply and demand economics.
