Wow! Credit the kids and their families, Brian and staff, the fanbase, institutional support, and success baked into the culture and community.
Pat Baker started the rise in a very young, nascent program. Mark Krikorian kicked it into hyperdrive, and Brian now is poised to go farther with it.
To realize that FSU soccer has eclipsed the long time gorilla UNC is personally very satisfying and I am very proud of their accomplishments.
Seeing the kids go on to pro careers, gaining international caps, coaching, raising families, etc… is pretty cool as well.
I struggle to understand what changing conferences might mean to FSU soccer, but success will continue.

4 or more years ago, I would have worried about changing conferences. We have become such a brand unto ourselves, that I don't worry about that so much anymore.
