Heading down tomorrow for my son's lacrosse tournament. Looking for a place for a big group (including a bunch of 15 year old boys) that has a bunch of big screens that will be showing the Noles at 5 and the Lightning at 8.

Thanks in advance.

Riviera Beach is not nice, so eliminate that( unless you are talking Singer Island). Downtown West Palm Beach has a Duffy's that is cool and Grease Burger Bar( our Seminole bar) should have it. Grease is small though.

actually, we are staying at the Hilton Singer Island. Is there anywhere near that hotel you could recommend?

Grease and Duffy's are close. Just a little south of where you are. As I posted, Grease is having a game watch party. They get packed for football but not as bad for baseball games. It is small though.

Which Duffy's would you recommend from our location? I see there are several around

My favorite one is on Clematis Street( down town West Palm Beach). You can also check out Grease on the same road and see if the Noles are out.

Duffy's North Palm is probably closer (here and facebook), you might also see Jack there, and maybe Yardhouse (here). For non-game dinning, I would definitely go by Sailfish Marina (here). For the non-kid time I would go to Square Grouper Tiki Bar (here).

All good options and the Duffy's you are talking about is bigger. I personally would do Clematis to have the option of Grease and Duffy's. Grease will have Noles there and will have drink specials, but you have to get there early.

Riviera Beach is going through a redevelopment along the Intrcoastal area, so one day that area should be good. I boat a lot there( Peanut Island), and it used to have the Tiki which had great food and good drinks. It closed as it was bought out for the new project down there.

Rhino and RTM58, we should get together some time for a Seminole game. I go to Grease for some of the game watching parties and do a lot of the PB Club's events. The kickoff party is coming soon with Marvin Jones as our speaker. That is a golf event then dinner with the speaker. That is always fun.

If you're at the Hilton the Sailfish Marina is maybe 5 or 6 minutes south of you on the SW tip of Singer Island. Awesome view of the marina and inlet, great atmosphere, and the food's really good. Highly recommend.

Very tasty cocktails for sure.

North Palm Duffy's is a lot closer to your hotel. The Clematis location is a much further, will take you through some sketchy neighborhoods while driving and parking is a pain in the azz. Just take A1A north from your hotel and you will come to US-1, turn right and Duffy's is a short distance from there.

Riviera is where all of Henry Flagler's workers ended up after they were done building/working at his Breaker's hotel (here) in Palm Beach. He burnt their homes down on the north end of the island, and I'm fairly sure one of them burnt the second edition of his hotel down. As the saying goes, "you play with matches..." Tough area, great football players. Oddly enough, they have one of the best high schools in the country. Suncoast, a magnet school here in Palm Beach County, is ranked 12th on the Washington Post's 'America’s Most Challenging High Schools 2015' (link).

In addition to the above, you should check out this North County 4-star or better list.....
Guanaban's (here) Coasta Rica in Palm Beach Co, with FSU ties
Food Shack (here) - Jack and The Shark love the mac&cheese
Leftovers (here) - sister rest to Foodshack
Dune Dog Café (here)
Thirsty Turtle (here)
Kee Grill (here)
Jupiter Doughnut Factory (here) - get there before they sell out (11 am)
CR Chicks (here)
Burger Bar (here) - also known as Cougartown, cause there's lots o' cougars and mediocre food
Rinaldi's Deli of Tequesta (here) That's not the entire menu
Tabica Grill (here)
Sushi Jo (here) - #chicks
Twisted Trunk Brewing (here) - beers, beers, beers, beers
Tequesta Brewing Company (here) - see above
Hog Snappers North Palm/Tequesta (here) - great sushi
3Natives Juice Bar (here) - also opening in PB Gardens
Spoto's Oyster Bar (here) - great seafood
Rocco's Tacos PGA/Downtown WPB (here) - great Tequila
The Riverhouse Restaurant (here) - main website is down
Cod and Capers (here) - a seafood wholesaler that also has a restaurant
Tulipan Bakery (here) - home of the original Cuban sanwhich in Fla ;-)
Dockside Sea Grille (here) - hole in wall with excellent seafood
Brass Ring (here) - on the edge of Riviera and frequented mostly by laborers and boat workers, the poors so bring a shiv, but the best wings and burgers in town bar none

No Website:
Cafe Sole - A nice menu, near Juno beach. A place replete with trust funders, golfer's daughters, pro surfer's exes and other genetically gifted lottery winners.
Limoncello Italian Grill - Ricky, Rory, Ernie, Jack, Tiger and a few other locals are known to swing by (link)

Not a complete list , as there are like 140 restaurants just along a two mile stretch between the Ocean and I-95 on PGA Boulevard; extreme wealth, a trophy mall, and an upscale top 20 open air center will do that......Palm Beach Gardens was recently tagged the new 'hedge fund haven', a la Connecticut.

Always enjoy your posts and look forward to seeing you around.

Don't be bagging on my town Bro'...unfortunately the OP, the most curvealicous bartender only works there Tuesday and Thursday, or so I hear.

OP - what tournament are you going to be at?

Very good list and I have been to nearly all those places over the years. Out of that list I would say the Food Shack and Spoto's are my favorite.

I also would add Frigates, which is owned by Noles for cocktails and a nice brunch.
