It was destroyed (fire?) and closed. Now is it reopened but not on the water?

I used to love it there back in the day. Only place I'd order smoked mullet.

TIA

No clue, but for ADPi's spring formal back in 2001 or 2002 the senior girls chartered a bus to take all of them and their dates down to Posey's before the main event. We all brought a bunch of liquor on board and by the time we made it to Posey's we had no business being in any kind of mixed company.

While we looked amazing in tuxedos and formal gowns, not a one of us could see straight. It didn't stop our general sense of hospitality, though, and several, several, several rounds of longnecks later we had made friends with half of the bar and wound up inviting a group of Wakulla townies to come back to Tally with us and keep the party going. Can't remember how many of them actually got on the bus to come back. Let's say more than three but fewer than 10. We were quite a sight to behold when we walked into the formal itself as though we were champions of the world.

To this day I wonder when and how they got home.

Riverside Cafe (next door) has expanded and has a pretty good set up, but it will never be Posey's.
My last trip to Posey's they had installed a breathalyzer and we decided whoever had the highest BAC didn't have to drive home. Yeah, we didn't really think of the logistics on that one for the guy who had the lowest so a waitress had to drive us home.

I used to have a Tee Shirt that said "I spent a week one night at Posey's".
Wish I still had it!
I think I must have found one just like it. Apparently, it has seen its fair share of action (back in the day). Its still intact. In fact, its in pristine condition. Initially, I was thrown off by some of the lettering. It had a totally different meaning to me.

They also had Tees that said "Home of the Topless Oysters".
