Football season is here and it is guaranteed to consume us. What do you like watching on TV that you will likely neglect over the next 4 to 5 months?

I recently bought tickets to Whose Live Anyway? It's the live version of the improv show Whose Line is it Anyway? It's been a while since I've seen it so I've been binging the original Whose Line is it Anyway with Drew Carey as the host. I love that show lol.

I want to start that. I'm a big Jason Sudeikis fan but I'm not subscribed to Apple TV unfortunately.
Wait a month until season 2 ends and then sub for a month and binge it. Worth every penny of the $5.99 sub fee.

Then watch Dickinson. It’s bloody brilliant too. I also really enjoyed Trying.

Tonight I watched “One Day at a time” and “Alice” on some obscure local channel. Nostalgic, but I prefer today’s production quality, writing, acting. I guess just about everything. But it’s nice to visit back for a few minutes.

Ted Lasso. Got Apple TV just for it. Definitely with the $5 or whatever it was.

Reruns of Big Bang, Friends...some of the "Zoo" shows where they show various events, births, rescues etc.

One show I find sort of funny is called something like "Homestead Rescue"...its like they send one group of idiots(with heavy equipment) to "rescue" another group of idiots who have decided to live "off the grid" in the middle of nowhere.

Also on Netflix...someone here recommended "Bosch"....I am now on season 6 I believe...excellent!

I’m just glad the “new season” of stuff starts soon. And college football, although for some reason it’s got a weird feeling to it - last year’s empty stadiums just changed it. I hope not forever,

I'll be neglecting the NFL for the third straight season, don't really miss it.

I can give you a TON of great recommendations, but sticking with AppleTV, check out For All Mankind and Tehran.

Agreed. Not all their programs appeal to me, but they all have high production values, great acting, and creative perspectives. At $5 a month, a great buy.

For All Mankind started well and was outstanding in season two. Not surprised, because its creator brought us the 21st century Battlestar Galactica and Outlander, among others. Can’t wait to see what it’s like on the next destination!

it's tied for my third favorite show on ATV+. It was #2 until Ted Lasso. I love the premise of For All Mankind, it's a great take but it can be a little slow at times in its buildup to action. I am looking forward to the next season.

Dickinson is my solid #2 though. I resisted it for a while solely due to preconceived notions but its melding of the 19th century with current pop culture is really well done. Next season is upcoming but it's also the final season :(

i have watched that too. It's a good show but a harder watch in the sense that it's not really a show i could binge watch. i would watch one or two episodes at a time and pause for a few days.

my take on the show was that it has an excellent spy plot but lots of peaks and valleys. i was more captivated by the earlier episodes than the later episodes in the season.

Can't disagree with that. Fauda on Netflix is better.
